Originally from Rochester NY, Diane spent 34 years with Eastman Kodak before retiring to Savannah, GA with her husband Dave.  Her time spent with Kodak centered in the Entertainment and Health Imaging Divisions doing organizational development work, so her interest in photography did not start until she retired.  Her first trip to Africa got her hooked on wildlife photography.  Four cameras and many trips later, she now focuses mainly on bird photography.  She finds it interesting how few people pay attention to the sounds and sights of birds on her trips – but by the end of the trip she usually has the whole group listening and looking at the beautiful birds in the area.  She encourages everyone to stop and listen and pay attention to the birds.
